After months of planning and pushing this project aside, This is my custom deck of cards. All were rendered and textured in Renderman for Maya. I managed to 3D model a full deck of cards, along with the open and shut box.

Some references in my cards are as follows: Joker cards are my drawings you can find on my Artstation, JACK was modelled after a dear friend of mine's logo design (www.artstation.com/darrinlonghorn3d), QUEEN was created after a short animation I made a few years ago brought back to be my queen card (www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mucahlLctM&ab_channel=AnthonyDiamondRush) and finally, my King is my personal character design. Both the king and queen are also wearing Mario Kart crowns.

This is one of the planned renders I had for this project researching different looks and styles of desktop backgrounds. This was rendered in RenderMan Maya and edited in Photoshop. This shot was also edited further for use on this website in Photoshop.

This was a render in Renderman Maya that was a purchased asset of a bedroom with some plane edits to make the PC screen work more clearly for texturing. This was a texturing nightmare but was really fun to mess with in the RenderMan renderer.

Fun Fact: The screenshot in the PC monitor is a live screenshot from my own PC the day I was finishing the project.

This is a render of my cards in an active game of Solitaire from the YouTuber SMii7Y. This was a further challenge getting all the different texturing needs completed for all the objects in the scene.

Fun Fact: The small cards in the bottom corners are art pieces I created in my Art Pieces Project that were made into 'joker' cards.

This is a demonstration of all the cards created and textured for the project. I aimed to create a full set of standard cards with all the versions of each card.

This was the panning of the card designs I made before the project began. In the end, after a run around of different people's opinions, I combine Plan 1 and 3 together to make the final version.

Fun Fact: I personally loved the 'Authentic Digital Playing Cards' gag but ended up with the Digital Addition for more simplicity.

This was the layout of the UV Mapping of the cards I had then modelled with the final planned design for the cards.

This was the first ever render done compared to the final look. There wasn't much use for this but I love showing before and afters.
