Saltyphish Project

This fan art piece turned into a requested animated 2D background animation/design for a YouTuber named Saltyphish. To clarify, I did not create the logo; I created the font design, animation, and final background design.

This project began as a fan art piece posted on Twitter/X, which was liked by the YouTuber. They then contacted me and asked if I would be interested in giving my piece as background art for them to use for their YouTube channel and socials. I responded by asking if they would be more interested in working with me to create a 2D-style background loop for their social media and Twitch channel. They agreed and the project began.

This project was animated, drawn, edited and planned in Photoshop (as Adobe Animate is expensive) and the final effects were created in Adobe Premier Pro. This was a multitasked project, with plans to create a general scenic background, an animated 2D loop and a font style to bring the brand together with the logo (that was not created by me).

To this day the YouTuber Saltyphish still uses my design and it will always be one of my personal favourites.
